What is THE Message?
It's the author's belief that on page 60 of the Bigbook is AA's Message.

(a) That we were alcoholic and could not manage our own lives.
(b) That probably no human power could have relieved our alcoholism.
(c) That God could and would if He were sought.
The message sounds like it is the one and only message. Well I don't think that this is the message of Alcoholics Anonymous at all. So many times I hear THE MESSAGE referred to when our literature says Carry Its Message. We have an avenue here with Precious Memories to inform Area 64 of the happenings @ Area 64 Archives. In so doing we also include tidbits from GSO literature that address's the disease of Alcoholism. It is not the intention of the authors to step on any toes and we do not wish to engage in any controversy. We simply want to keep individual AA members informed to our activities. This helps to have an INFORMED GROUP CONSCIENCE.  We invite your input to the Precious Memories Newsletter. We need viewpoints from all AA members as it relates to AA, Archives, Alcoholism.
